I was fortunate to be given one of these HCBs from the Vogue Office girl after she was tempted to buy 12 on her way to work the other day. Freshly baked HCBs have that affect on people. These have a lots of bread (reminds me of the Dolcetti ones) and way too much peel. They are super soft for those who like that. A little too soft for me. They are a good looking bun but there is no spice. No awful but not awesome either.

This is a really rustic looking bun that has a good taste - great mix of fruit and spice. It's a little expensive, it doesn't reheat super well and it's not really soft. But it's good toasted with butter.... though a cheaper bun would also taste good with the same treatment. The Man reckons these get better with time (which is slightly disconcerting).
