Franken-bun Apple & Cinnamon

Now, it wouldn't be a good Hot cross bun review without a few Franken-buns. There are plenty out there. The newest one I have seen is the Apple & Cinnamon bun from Coles. At $3.50 for 6 it's the same as the other HCBs at Coles. And, I must say, it's really lovely! I think there is great balance of apple and cinnamon. The apple makes the bun sweet without being too sweet. They are a great looking bun and different, in a good way, to a normal HCB. A little bit sticky from the cinnamon. Could be a good options for all those sultana-haters out there! (You know who you are). he Man in our house really likes these.
