HCB #19, 20 & 21 The End.
HCB #19 review
Dolce Cafe Wareemba 6 x $13 4/5
A local fav with the my Abbotsford mum friends, I have been meaning to try these the past few years. These are great buns. They are soft and sweet and have a good taste. They are a little rustic looking, no glaze and very expensive (maybe too expensive) but I thought these taste really nice, especially the yellow crosses!

Papa's patisserie 90c each or 6 x $5 3/5
A former 5/5 HCB, this one has certainly fallen from grace. Though very price effective and has good overall sweetness and favour, it's a tough tasting bun and reheating does not help it. It is small too. And the rustic home-made look actually makes them look clumsy and not very appetising. Needs glaze. They are better than Coles and Woolworths though so I would still buy these over your grocery HCBs, if you have time to get to Haberfield or Five Dock.

French hot bread, Katoomba 80c each or 6 x $4 3/5
Stumbled over these on my Easter holiday travels and was surprised how good they were. Good looking bun though not much glaze, soft and sweet with good fruit. Very price comparable to the competition nearby (Coles & Woolworths) I think it would be better to pop into this local store if you are in the area.
Well, that is the end of the reviews for 2015. No 5/5 HCBs this year. Disappointing!! I hope that you have enjoyed these blogs. I hope that they have aided you in deciding between different HCBs. Wishing you a very happy Easter; enjoy the extra days off; and remember that the cross on the HCBs is not just decoration, but a reminder of a much more amazing goodness offered by God in Christ Jesus.
