Salted caramel

Though it's not new or innovative, my obsession with salted caramel has reared it's head again with the introduction of Adriano Zumbo's marriage to Tim Tams with a salted caramel version.

I am unsure how you like your salted caramel, but I like mine with quite a bit of salt to caramel. Really the salty bite in flavored ice creams!! 

So, I confess I was disappointed with the Tim Tam version. Not only is it in a much smaller packet than the regular version, it taste like a watered down version of the chewy caramel version. It's definitely not as sweet as the full caramel version but it's not salty enough for me.
